Fire in the belly, blue sky in the mind

Lots programming dedicated to patriotism and the men and women who've fought in wars around the world today – not that that's a surprise, today being Memorial Day. Sometimes I think of the sacrifices our American brothers and sisters have made and are making today and I get a tear in my eye, because theirs is the gift of pure courage and selfless living.

Amazing to me what lengths some people will go to under deadly circumstances to save another's life. It is truly admirable and awe-inspiring!

And so, to those who've served and fought and seen their bretheren bleed and die, or come home crippled and warped by the gore and violence, I salute you all and wish you peace and happiness.
